How should I prepare for my massage treatment?
Clear a space in your home that is peaceful, without distractions, and enough room to set up a massage table

Take a hot shower to warm your muscles just before your appointment and remove any jewellery. Wear your hair loose.
What should I expect from my first massage session?
Your massage therapist will set up all the equipment needed including, massage table/chair, fresh towels and oils.

A consultation form will be required at your first appointment. Your details will be stored securely for future appointments.

When we are both ready to begin you will be left to undress in private and lay on the bed or sit on the chair.
​
Towels with be used throughout the massage to drape for modesty, warmth and comfort.
​
Relaxing background music will be played during the therapy.

Let your therapist know if the pressure is too firm or light at any time

After my massage treatment
Immediately after your treatment, to get the best results, you should drink plenty of water. Avoid smoking, caffeine and heavy meals. Try to relax as much as you can for the rest of the day.

After a massage it is normal to get a headache, plenty of fluids will help. This is due to the toxins being removed from your body.
